Course Overview:

Spanish for Warehouses and Distribution Centers is a self-paced, online Spanish course designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders, or anybody who works with Spanish-speaking employees and co-workers in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
The course incorporates visual imagery (photos associated with words and phrases for better retention),  native speakers to hear proper pronunciation, language tips, intuitive reading exercises, interactive assessments to measure your progress and comprehension, and cultural lessons. And remember--this course is self-paced! Go through the course as slowly or quickly as you would like.

Course Outline:

By the end of the online Spanish course, the diligent student will be able to:
  • Recognize, understand, and pronounce the words and phrases from the Learning Units on the syllabus.
  • Be able to engage in “small-talk” conversations and provide and obtain workplace-related information from the Learning Units on the syllabus.
  • Compare and contrast U.S. cultural values to those of the Hispanic world in how it may relate to the workplace, by recognizing that cultures develop different patterns of interaction and identifying key values, such as family, time, naming system, respect for authority, and the Latino work ethic.

Spanish for Warehouses and Distribution Centers is a self-paced, online Spanish course designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders, or anybody who works with Spanish-speaking employees and co-workers in a warehouse or distribution center setting. In addition to basic greetings and general Spanish vocabulary, the course also covers warehousing, manufacturing, safety equipment, and supervisory expressions. The course is designed for approximately 16 hours of instruction, is available for 6 months, and includes a certificate of completion when finished.
The course incorporates visual imagery (photos associated with words and phrases for better retention), native speakers to hear proper pronunciation, language tips, intuitive reading exercises, interactive assessments to measure your progress and comprehension, and cultural lessons. And remember–this course is self-paced! Go through the course as slowly or quickly as you would like.

English learning for Spanish-Speaking Workforces

"Inglés para Trabajadores" is designed for Spanish-speaking associates to learn or improve their "workplace English." 
 It is applicable to virtually any industry or job occupation. 
 Include more than 800 terms & expressions written from the perspective of the Spanish-speaking worker and organized into the topics listed below. This is a non-academic program (no grammar) whose objective is to help Hispanics achieve basic English workplace communication skills.
While it can be utilized on a self-study basis, it is often used in a class training environment where a bilingual leader can answer questions and guide "students" through the most appropriate material.
